Aos amigos que gostam, abaixo estão todos os vídeos da nossa viagem a Orlando, juntamente com uma pequena descrição e algumas dicas para viajar para lá. Claro, baseadas na nossa experiência.
Orlando é lugar muito legal e eu recomendo que todo mundo vá lá pelo menos uma vez na vida! Hoje em dia, planejando bem, não fica muito caro. Além do mais, é uma dívida que vale a pena (com moderação, claro), pois são momentos inesquecíveis os que vivemos nesse lugar mágico.
Viajamos no dia 20 de dezembro para Miami e fizemos um vôo com escala em Buenos Aires. Chegamos na tarde do dia 21 e pegamos um carro em direção a Orlando. É uma viagem cansativa, cerca de 4h de duração. Em Orlando ficamos em uma casa de 4 quartos (afinal de contas éramos 9 pessoas mais o Dudu) e foi uma experiência muito legal. A casa era extremamente confortável e eu recomendo essa opção se vc for viajar com um grupo grande. No final, o preço que vc paga acaba sendo próximo ou até menor que uma hospedagem em um hotel normal.
Eu recomendo fazer um plano pré-pago de celular local (com Internet de preferência), principalmente se você está com um grupo grande. Ajuda muito a questão da comunicação. Além disso, é primordial ter um carro para se locomover. Em Orlando não há muitas opções de transporte público. Além disso, se você conseguir bancar, alugue um carro grande porque o número de malas que você trouxe vai se multiplicar. Ah, e leve um GPS (ou alugue um). É fundamental!
Como a Rebeca está grávida e a maioria das mulheres não curte a “adrenalina” dos parques, os homens foram para a Universal e seus dois parques nos dois primeiros dias. O Islands of Adventure é o mais “radical” por assim dizer. Aqui temos 2 ótimas montanhas-russas (Hulk e Dragon) além de diversos brinquedos maneiríssimos, como o River Adventure do Jurassic Park, o elevador do Dr. Destino e os simuladores do Homem-Aranha e o do Harry Potter (que conta com um cenário fantástico).
No Universal Studios temos atrações mais leves (tirando as montanha-russas Rockit e a da Múmia), mas também é muito legal. Destaque para os simuladores dos Simpsons e dos Transformers. Se você entende inglês, vale uma visita ao divertido Disaster também (destaque para o Scylas que foi um dos atores da atração).
OBS: Na minha opinião, é imprescindível a compra do “Express Pass” nos parques da Universal. Com ele você foge da fila comum na maioria dos brinquedos. É muito gostoso passar ao lado da fila gigantesca de mais de uma hora de espera e sair quase na boca do brinquedo.
O Magic Kingdom é o parque tradicional da Disney e por isso viemos com toda a família. Costumo dizer que esse parque é uma atração em si. Ele não possui muitos brinquedos radicais (só a Space Mountain, a Splash Mountain e a Big Thunder), mas nos contagia por causa do seu ambiente mágico. As músicas, os shows, os personagens, tudo isso compõe muito bem o lugar e é impossível não entrar no clima. Pena que na época de alta temporada o parque fica lotado e isso acaba atrapalhando bastante essa imersão. Por isso, recomendo ir em baixa temporada. Fique até o final do dia para ver a emocionante e inesquecível queima de fogos.
Orlando é conhecido por seus outlets e shoppings. Junte dinheiro para as compras porque se compararmos com o Brasil a diferença é absurda em alguns itens. Os principais outlets são o Orlando Premium (existem dois desse), mas também tem uns menores que acabam ficando mais vazios. Os grandes shoppings são o Millenia e o Florida Mall, mas ali apesar de terem lojas maneiríssimas, você não vai encontrar os preços tão baratos quanto nos outlets. Há também as lojas de departamento que se você tiver paciência de ficar fuçando, vai encontrar coisas legais. Algumas delas são TJ Max, Ross, Marshalls. Ah, e se você gosta de eletrônicos, não deixe de ir na Best Buy.
Nesse domingo, enquanto o resto da família esvaziava seus bolsos em Orlando, fomos eu e o sogrão conhecer a NASA. O Kennedy Space Center fica a mais ou menos 1 hora de carro de Orlando, mas vale a visita. Ali vemos a história e chegamos perto de objetos que realmente foram ao espaço. Destaque para o ônibus espacial Atlantis que nos é revelado de uma forma emocionante.
Para muitos, o Hollywood Studios é o melhor parque da Disney. Aqui temos os shows do Indiana Jones, da Bela e a Fera, Pequena Sereia, Lights – Motors & Actions, além das radicais Torre do Terror e a montanha-russa do Aerosmith. No final do dia temos o show Fantasmic que é imperdível. Os parques da Disney são para curtir o dia. Chegue cedo e saia bem tarde. Relaxe e disfrute. Não vale a pena visitá-los com pressa, diferente dos outros de Orlando. Infelizmente não conseguimos ir no Animal Kingdom e no EPCOT dessa vez, mas ambos valem a visita, principalmente o primeiro.
OBS: Na Disney também temos o “Fast Pass” para algumas atrações, mas você não precisa comprar. É só chegar cedo e buscar o seu ao lado do brinquedo. Ele reservará um horário para você utilizá-lo. Escolha bem para qual atração pegar o bilhete porque você só poderá retirar outro depois de determinado horário.
O Sea World, na minha opinião, é o parque mais emocionante de Orlando. Deixamos ele para o final e não nos arrependemos. O show dos golfinhos “Blue Horizons” é de fazer chorar. O tradicional “One Ocean” das baleias orcas é bem divertido também. Passagem obrigatória. Apesar de ser um parque aquático, temos aqui duas montanhas-russas fantásticas: A Manta (você vai literalmente deitado, olhando para o chão) e a Kraken (a que eu mais gosto). O Journey to Atlantis é uma mistura de montanha-russa com escorrega de barco e é bem divertido também. Não deixe de ir no Shark Encounter, no Turtletrek e no show da foca Clyde. A nova atração Empire of the Penguin (onde visitamos pinguins de verdade) também é legalzinha, mas se estiver com uma fila muito grande só vá se estiver com tempo (e leve um casaco porque lá dentro é frio demais). Há diversos outros shows e atrações. É só escolher e desfrutar.

Ser “chamado” para algo é como ter uma brasa dentro do peito. É como um ciclo vicioso que nos impele a aperfeiçoarmo-nos continuamente para alcançar o ponto máximo da satisfação pessoal: O cumprimento. O que é, certamente, algo abstrato, pois nunca nos damos por satisfeitos de fato. Nunca estamos continuamente plenos, mas vivemos os momentos. Há o momento da descoberta, o momento da busca, da caminhada, dos frutos, há o cansaço, há a redescoberta e assim por diante. É uma vida. É como se a brasa tivesse vida própria e apagasse e acendesse de tempos em tempos, quando bem entendesse. Ciclos.
Pode parecer algo penoso (e é de fato), até mesmo passageiro, mas essa busca é aliada da felicidade e é nesse caminho que a encontramos. Acredito que todo ser humano quer muitas coisas na vida, mas apenas duas delas trazem significado real: Pertencer a algo (não estar sozinho) e sentir que está contribuindo com alguma coisa ou alguém. Servir. Ser útil. No fundo, todos querem isso e eu não acredito em quem fala o contrário. Queremos ser notados, queridos, e pode até parecer egoísta o fato de querer servir ao outro para satisfazer a si próprio, mas não é. É um modelo. Quem dera se ele estivesse de fato estabelecido em nosso mundo.
Cada um é “chamado” em um tempo e de formas diferentes. Porém, TODOS são e sabemos disso. Queria encorajar você que se identifica com esse sentimento a prosseguir e desfrutar de cada momento na sua caminhada. Desfrutar dos novos cenários que são abertos diante de seus olhos, das novas pessoas que entram em suas vidas. Desfrutar da transformação que é contínua e será até que…
